ZEISS plans to expand the market share of its industrial quality and research department in Poland through the acquisition of Lenso.

According to foreign media reports, Lenso, headquartered in Poznan, Poland, is a partner of Poland's 3D optical system. The company will become a part of ZEISS's industrial quality solutions.

Michael Hubensack, CEO of ZEISS, said in a press release that his goal was to become the first in the field of measurement and quality control in Poland.

Lenso CEO Marek Radke said: "We look forward to becoming a part of ZEISS and working together to provide the best solutions for our customers. At the same time, becoming a member of ZEISS family will bring new opportunities to our team and customers."

After the transaction is completed, Lenso will join ZEISS's sales and service company in Poland as part of ZEISS's industrial quality solutions. In addition, the two companies will continue to be responsible for the services they provide to their customers. Both parties agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
