The product brings design engineers a next-generation biosignal conversion solution for a variety of applications, including smart devices; heart rate, electrocardiogram (ECG) and photovolumetric pulse wave graph (PPG) monitoring; optical sensor platforms; wearable devices; and more. 

Ams, distributed by Vanceer Electronics, is a biosignal sensor analog front-end that provides up to eight LED driver outputs, samples up to six photodiode inputs, and supports external electrodes, thus providing excellent flexibility to implement multiple LED and photodiode layouts in different applications. The analog front-end features two analog-to-digital converter (ADC) channels for simultaneous PPG and ECG measurements and automatic photodiode detuning control. the AS7050 sensor operates over a voltage range of 1.7V to 1.98V and offers fast mode+ at 1MHz, fast mode at 400kHz, and standard mode at 100kHz via the I²C bus for excellent efficiency. 

In addition, Vanceer stocks ams evaluation kits for the AS7050. The kit consists of a main board and a breakout board, offering a very high degree of flexibility. The breakout board has integrated biosensors, temperature sensors, accelerometers and electrodes that can be connected to the main board via a flexible printed circuit (FPC) cable or external electrodes, or to a wristband via a Molex PicoBlade connector.
