IAR Embedded Workbench and IAR Build Tools (version RH850) have been upgraded to the latest technology platform, including the use of the latest C/C++ language (with support for the C++17 language standard library), which will allow developers to build more advanced code to handle more complex tasks. 

In addition, the latest release includes a 64-bit IDE and editor with programmer's diablo mode, as well as streamlined cross-platform IAR build tools for automating the build and test process for frameworks built on Ubuntu, Red Hat or Windows. 

This release also provides developers with extensions for Visual Studio Code to meet growing customer demand. These extensions are compatible with the latest version of the IAR Embedded Workbench and IAR Build Tools (RH850 version), which are easily available to users by visiting the Visual Studio Code Marketplace. 

The latest version of the IAR Toolchain (RH850 Edition) supports all the latest versions of the Renesas RH850 high-performance and scalable multicore MCUs.
